Having joy! That’s what Philippians is about! It is a wellspring of spiritual truths that have brought countless believers new joy and peace in their daily walk. You will find it a beautiful and profitable book, which contains principles of life that will literally transform your attitude toward people and circumstances. Come join us in this wonderful study which will show us how to have and experience REAL joy as we face the challenges of life. Cost: $25

The Psalms have been a source of comfort and strength for believers in every experience of life. They are a gateway to the heart of God. Through them, He is drawing us to Himself into a closer relationship of trust, obedience, and worship. Join us as we dig deep into these treasures. Cost: $10

I'm Stuck, But I Want to Be Free
by: Debbie Friley
Teacher: Karmen Estes | Room 228
Are you stuck, but longing to be free?  Ephesians 4:31 says, "Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice.”...so how do we do that? How can we better honor the Lord in our walk? Come and discover some simple steps to lasting change as we use the power of God’s Word to unlock His desire for us to know and experience the truth of John 8:36: “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” All He needs is our desire to obey Him! Cost: $10

Lord, I Want to Know You
By: Kay Arthur
Teacher: Rometa Arrington | Room 222
Let’s discover the limitless power of God’s name! So much of our confusion and pain results because we don’t know God....who He really is or how He works in our lives. But with the heart attitude of "Lord, I want to know you," that will all change. When you know God more fully by studying His names: Creator, Healer, Protector, Provider, and many others, you’ll gain the power to stand strong. You’ll find strength for times of trial, comfort for pain, provision for your soul’s deepest needs. And your walk with God will be transformed. Cost: $17

The God You May Not Know
By: Dr. David Jeremiah
Teacher: Mary Beth Hohman  |  Room 232
Knowing about someone is not the same as knowing the person himself. Trying to comprehend the person of God is like trying to capture all the galaxies of the universe in a child’s prism. Yet the Bible encourages us to try.  God seeks to be known, He reveals Himself in His creation and in His Holy Word. This study will enable us to love Him more, to know Him better, and to make Him known. As our Lord Jesus Christ prayed on the final night of His earthly life: “This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent” (John 17:3). Cost: $18

Called to Contentment
MOMS Class, 9:30–11:35 AM
by Donna Navey
Teacher: Donna Navey | Banquet Room
The MOMS Class is designed to help mothers of young children encourage one another and draw closer to Christ. Members of the class become part of small groups with a designated Mentor Mom (Titus 2:3–5) who leads the discussion on the practical application of sound doctrine. This semester, the MOMS group study is Called to Contentment. The culture sells the idea “all we need is a little more than we have.” God’s Word reveals a more purposeful and eternal ambition. The struggle to "be, do, and have it all" cannot provide the blessing of a contented life. This study will help mothers rest in God's best! Cost: $15

Tuesday Evening Classes

January 8 – April 9  |  6:30–9:00 PM
Walk-in registration on the second floor

A Message from God — 1 John
by Pam Gillaspie
Teacher: Linda James | Room 242
In our day, everything from music to politics is described as “Christian,” but is it really? Is Jesus what our society or culture says He is? And who are the people who belong to Him? How can you know? Biblical truth can only be understood straight from God's Word, not opinion polls. In A Message From God: Light Living in Dark Days you'll unpack 1 John and see God’s message for yourself without the “middleman” of others’ opinions and ideas! You will learn how to discover Truth for yourself. Cost: $21
