Worship Ministry
Our Worship Team is a deeply committed community of vocal and instrumental musicians, plus sound and video technicians who love worshiping God and serving together. Our purpose is to help Calvary worship in an inspiring and meaningful way — plus, we enjoy great fellowship!

Our Calvary choir, orchestra, band, and tech team are comprised of Calvary members who serve on Sundays in our worship services. We sing and play a wide variety of musical styles and strive for excellence in all that we do. We prepare each week (September through May) during "Wednesday Worship," where we rehearse from 6:30 to 8:00 PM and grow together through prayer and community.
We are accepting new vocalists, instrumentalists, and audio/video technicians in August! If you are a follower of Jesus Christ, a member of Calvary Church, have some skill in vocal or instrumental music or audio/video experience, have a worshiping heart, and desire to serve in a dynamic worship team, we invite you to contact us!
Contact Christy to arrange a rehearsal visit on a Wednesday evening in August to begin the process!

Student Worship Ministry
Choir, Band, One Voice, & Orchestra
Student Worship Choir
Our Student Worship Choir (grades 6–12) sings in worship services and special concerts throughout the year. All middle and high school students are welcome — no audition is needed. Come sing with us!

One Voice
One Voice vocal ensemble (grades 10–12) is an auditioned group that sings as scheduled on Sundays in worship services and special concerts.

Student Worship Band

Student Orchestra
Our Student Orchestra is for students (grades 8–12) who have played an instrument for two or more years. We invite you to use your musical talent to glorify God in worship at Calvary.

Kids Choir
Grades 1–5NextGen Choirs are now on Summer Break — join us in September for the new season!
In Calvary Kids Choir, children in grades 1–5 learn to worship our great God while developing musical skills and knowledge of basic music theory and techniques. We sing in worship services and special concerts throughout the year.
We rehearse during scheduled Sunday evening services at 6:00 PM. We will NOT meet every Sunday. Because we have a limited schedule, please plan to attend every rehearsal.
Sign in at the kiosks to receive a nametag for your child. Children should attend the opening portion of the worship service with their parents. They will be dismissed to the Choir Room from the service. Kids Choir will use the "piano side" stairwell to get to the Choir Room.

Wee Praisers
Choir for Age 4 – KindergartenNextGen Choirs are now on Summer Break — join us in September for the new season!
Preschool children age four (by 12/10/24) through Kindergarten are invited to join the Wee Praisers choir! We learn to sing and worship God while discovering basic music theory and techniques. We sing in worship services and special concerts throughout the year.
We rehearse during scheduled Sunday evening services at 6:00 PM. We will NOT meet every Sunday. Because we have a limited schedule, please plan to attend every rehearsal.

Organ Concerts
Thank you for your interest in the Calvary Grand Organ concert series. We invite you to enjoy classics, hymns, and favorite arrangements presented by Calvary organist Elizabeth Hildebrand, along with a brief devotional by Pastor Jim Pile. The concerts are free, and everyone is welcome.
The Thursday morning concerts are at 11:00 AM; dates coordinate with our Senior Adult Luncheon schedule.

Calvary Kids Music Camp

We are SO excited about Calvary Kids Music Camp this summer!
Camp is for kids in 2nd–8th grades for the upcoming 2024–25 school year. In just one week, campers will learn and perform an entire Gospel-centered musical. Activities include singing, acting, choreography, art activities, and more! Then, campers will present a live stage performance of the musical for family and friends on Friday evening!
We’re offering TWO WEEKS of the SAME MUSIC CAMP
Camp Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–12:30 PM
- Kids must attend each day of camp to prepare to participate in the live performance.
- Drop-off and pick-up will be in the Calvary Life Center. Check-in starts at 8:45 AM.
Live Musical Performance
- Friday, July 19 or August 2 | 7:00 PM, Crown Room (3rd Floor). Campers arrive at 6:30 PM.
- Family and friends are invited to attend the live performance. It’s fun for all ages!
Camp Registration
Cost: $75 per student or $175 max per family
Volunteer Opportunities
Are you interested in serving at one or both of our camps this summer? We need great volunteers (high school age through adults) to help make music camp a success! If you love the Lord Jesus and have a heart for kids, we encourage you to serve. Providing audio & video supportIt takes a great volunteer team of sound, lighting, and video technicians working together to produce our worship services and support the many ministry events throughout the week at Calvary.
We can train you to operate the audio consoles, operate cameras, run the video switcher, use presentation software, and run the lighting console. If you have an interest and aptitude in these areas, please contact us about current opportunities.

The Calvary Choir and Orchestra have recorded two live worship CDs: Worship at Calvary and Unending Songs. Both CDs are available for purchase in the Word Room, and Unending Songs is also available here on iTunes.
Our NextGen Worship Coordinator, Chelsea Hathaway, has released her first worship CD, Restored, featuring her own music and lyrics. Get it in the Word Room bookstore.
