Greg was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and raised in a Christian home. He gave his heart to Christ at a young age, but reaffirmed his faith in college. Greg graduated from Penn State University and spent 12 years as a meteorologist at several local television stations around the country, including here in Charlotte. After lots of prayer, Greg felt called to make a career change and use his communications and management skills to serve as Director of Media at Calvary. He feels passionate about the power of media and how it can be used to further God's kingdom. Greg and his wife Brittany have three children and are actively involved in Calvary Children's Ministry.
What Greg likes: Nature, the mountains, hiking, finding secluded places in nature where he can get in deep prayer with the Lord, skiing, snowmobiling, the beach, weather, pizza, chocolate cake, and spending time with his family!
What Greg could do without: Traffic, humidity, negativity, and biscuits!

Carl was raised by strong Christian parents in Monroe, NC and trusted in Jesus Christ as his personal Savior when he was 13 years old. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. He is married to Tammy who is from Charlotte. They have two daughters, Natalie and Alison.
What Carl likes: Spending time with his family, travel, and being outdoors.
What Carl could do without: Traffic and black olives!
Director of Missions704.341.5322 |Vince is passionate about missions, missionaries, and their work. Raised in a Christian home, he placed his faith in Jesus Christ at age 9. Vince’s mother had a great desire to be a missionary. As a result, his family often hosted missionaries and pastors visiting their church.Married to Martha for 50 years, they have two married children, one granddaughter, and a granddog! Vince and Martha have been at Calvary Church for more than 20 years and have participated in many Calvary GO Trips together and individually. Those trips enabled him to serve with many people in many countries, notably in Kenya, forming lifetime friendships. He has witnessed the transformation of unknowing people after hearing the Gospel for the first time. The real blessing is returning and seeing them serve faithfully in their family, church, and community.Vince received a B.S. degree from Tusculum College and spent 28 years with a German chemical company, retiring in 2003 after a career in customer service and production planning.What Vince likes: The beach, walking, golf, Lucy, Kenya, and anything Tennessee Volunteers!
What Vince could do without: Cold weather, traffic, and cheese!

Peter’s passion is encouraging people to live fully in the abundant life of Jesus Christ. He grew up in Charlotte, and he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior when he was 11 years old. Peter enjoys all kinds of sports and has played organized football, soccer, and baseball.
Peter has a B.S. in Business Administration, a Master of Divinity from Louisiana Baptist Theological Seminary, and an M.A. in Biblical Studies from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Peter is married to Mereda.
What Peter likes: Golf, tennis, ocean air, the mountains, economics, laughing, fireflies, and meditating on Scripture.
What Peter could do without: Icing, scary movies, and long lines!

Paul was born in Chicago, Illinois, and lived the first four years of his life three blocks from Wrigley Field. He was raised in the suburbs of Chicago and regularly attended church with his mother. Despite perfect attendance at Sunday School, Paul did not hear the Gospel until he was a young adult. At the age of 23, he was invited to a small Baptist church where he heard the Gospel and accepted Christ as his Savior and Lord.
Paul received a BS in Chemistry from MacMurray College, where he met his wife Betty (on a blind date that was a disaster). They have two sons, Morgan and Jordan, and three grandchildren, Lynslie, Renn, and Cooper. Paul and Betty have been at Calvary Church for over 36 years.
What Paul likes: Reading, photography, music, travel, spicy food, baseball (Chicago Cubs), and his grandchildren.
What Paul could do without: Tasteless food, opera, and meetings!

Lori’s calling is to use her gifts to serve God by working with the staff, parents, and children of Calvary Child Development Center.
She is originally from Chicago and has been married for 21 years to her loving husband, Ron. Lori and Ron have been active members of Calvary since 2013. They have two daughters, Caleigh (20) and Scout (19). Both girls are attending college in North Carolina.
Lori has had a diverse and fascinating work life. She has owned and operated her own business, managed a call center for AT&T, and worked as the Director of the Main Street program in Wisconsin. She fully realized her love of working with children when she became a teacher of 4 year-olds in Chicago, IL. Her husband’s position brought them to Charlotte in 2011, and Lori has worked at Calvary Child Development Center ever since. She has worked as a Lead Teacher, Coordinator, Scheduling Manager, Staff Manager, Interim Director, and Director of Education & Development before becoming the Director in 2020.
What Lori likes: Reading, creative writing, walking, the ocean, and camping
What Lori could do without: Negativity, dishonesty, liver, and onions

Donna supports Calvary ministry by creating print and digital media to reach our congregation and community. She is a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts in Education and English and a professional retail marketing and product development background. She enjoys the creative challenge of developing, designing, writing, editing, and coordinating a wide variety of communications projects.
Donna trusted Christ as a child and rededicated her life to the Lord soon after college. She met her husband, Guy, on a Calvary singles’ beach retreat where he was leading worship. They were married at Calvary in 1987. They have a daughter, Elisabeth, and a son, Joshua — but now they’re empty nesters!
What Donna likes: UNC Tar Heels! Time with family, BBQ, arts & music, gardening, cookbooks, typography, road trips, and NBA Hornets games.
What Donna could do without: Mustard, mayonnaise, and pickles!

Laura believes in the vision and mission of Calvary Church. Her goal is to share Calvary’s Christ-centered focus with the children and families of Calvary Child Development Center, providing a sound and professionally operated facility for our students.
Laura was raised in a Catholic home and became a Christian her freshman year in college. She has been married 14 years to her loving husband, Daniel. They have three boys, Ryan, William, and Matthew.
Laura and her family have been members of Calvary Church for over 10 years. As a former banker in Wealth Management and Compliance, she was called to Children’s Ministry in late 2014 as the Nursery Coordinator for Calvary. Laura's joy is to serve the youngest members of our church family and teach them to love and follow the Lord Jesus.

Jordan was raised in a Christian home in Southwest Virginia, and he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior when he was eight years old. He now lives in Charlotte with his wife, Jacqueline, and their daughter. He is a graduate of Virginia Tech. Over the course of 15 years, Jordan has gained extensive communications and operations expertise in a variety of senior roles.
What Jordan Likes: Football, history, movies, the beach, pizza, and his family!

Kelli joyfully serves Calvary church as the Director of Human Resources. She came to saving faith at the age of nine, with the guidance of her school bus driver. She is married to Mike, and they have two children and four grandchildren. They have been active members at Calvary since 2010.
Kelli earned her Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources Management from Birmingham-Southern College and has over ten years of experience in various HR disciplines and leadership development.
What Kelli likes: A good book, hiking, kayaking, time with her grandchildren, and the beach.
What Kelli can do without: Cream soda and seafood

Matthew was raised in a Christian home in Southwest Virginia and lives in Charlotte with his wife, Sparkle. He served in the U.S Air Force Chaplain Service for 22 years. As a Senior Noncommissioned Officer, he was responsible for implementing policy, providing security for facilities and personnel, and supporting a comprehensive religious ministry. Matthew has worked at Calvary Church for 14 years.
What Matthew likes: Christian music, sports, and spending time with his family!

Su loves how God has led her to Calvary, where she can combine her love of children, God’s Word, education, music, and theater to engage and encourage children to learn more about our Lord! She was born in Nigeria, Africa, to parents who were missionaries and was blessed to be raised in a Christian home. She met and married Chuck at Calvary. They have three children, Jonathan, Cassie, and Stephen.
Su completed her undergraduate studies at Wheaton College and her Master of Education at UNCC. She taught in our public schools for 10 years.
What Su likes: Children, the ocean, lakes, the Caribbean, travel, UNC Football (Go Jonathan!), laughing, and spending time with her family.
What Su could do without: Snakes, spiders, and mosquitoes!
