John has served as Senior Pastor at Calvary since February 2006. His passion is to preach and teach the Word of God and to shepherd souls. He also teaches daily on “The Verdict” radio program and the weekly Avizandum podcast.

A graduate of Edinburgh University, John formerly practiced law in Scotland. When God called John to full-time pastoral ministry, he and Gudny moved to Texas to attend Dallas Theological Seminary, where he graduated with Master of Theology and Doctor of Ministry degrees.

John is married to Gudny, who is from the Faroe Islands. They have three grandchildren, Alex, Ian, and Kera.
