The Book of Ecclesiastes
Mondays, 6:30–7:30 AM | June 3 – July 15
Conf Room A & Via Zoom, with Tom Miller
What makes a life meaningful? How does one find purpose in life? In this study, we will consider Solomon, who was described as the wisest man on earth. Solomon looks back on his full life yet seeks meaning. Come and learn from a man who said, “I applied my heart to seek and to search out by wisdom all that is done under heaven.” This is a seven-week, verse-by-verse study with weekly lesson plans. Newcomers are welcome!
Genesis
Mondays, 7:00–8:00 AM | June 3 – August 26
Room 242 & via Zoom, with David Dafoe & Ralph Weitz
Genesis is a book about beginnings. In the beginning, God created the heavens, the earth, plants and animals, men and women. All is good! Yet paradise is lost, and God begins His plan of restoration and redemption for humanity and creation. This study will also consider the patriarchal stories that grapple with some of our deepest questions. We will use the Navigator Genesis (LifeChange) study guides. These are available on Amazon and in the Word Room at a discount. Come and be blessed as we study the book of Genesis!
Tuesday Evening Study
Minor Prophets
Tuesdays, 7:00–9:00 PM | June 4 – August 20
Wayne Hackbarth & Team via Zoom
Please join us on ZOOM this summer for a study of the minor prophets. God called His people out of their spiritual stupor. Indeed, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, and Malachi call us to a vibrant faith. Join a team of teachers for this 12-week conversational study.
