Dr. Timothy Brown serves as the Executive Pastor at Calvary Church, leading our pastors and staff as we pursue our mission of "being and making authentic followers of Christ." He previously served in leadership at Calvary as an elder and Clerk of Session before joining the staff in 2024.

Dr. Brown enjoyed his former academic roles as the Dean of Southern Evangelical Bible College and Assistant Professor of Philosophy and Theology at Southern Evangelical Seminary. He holds a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Ministry and Biblical Languages and a Master of Theology in Theological Studies and Philosophy from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, as well as a Doctor of Philosophy degree from Southern Evangelical Seminary. He was ordained in 2004 and has served in pastoral ministry in the Charlotte area. 

Timothy is married to Jodi, and they are blessed with three children: Jackson, Chloé, and Wellesley.
