Audio Technical Assistant
Summary: This part-time (6–8 hours per week, 3 weeks per month) position will assist and operate the sound, lighting, and video on the Calvary campus. The individual will also develop and work with a team of volunteers, and help with the planning/coordination of all the technical needs for the worship services and other campus ministries.
Works under the supervision of the Technical Director and is responsible for setups and other tasks to prepare for weekend services and special events, including preparing media. Organizes and maintains technical equipment. Must be detail-oriented, able to troubleshoot technical issues, and available during Sunday services and weekly Wednesday night rehearsals. Additional duties may be assigned by the Technical Director, Pastor of Worship, or other designee.
Qualifications: Strong background in audio — understanding and knowledge of analog and digital consoles and live mixing experience. Knowledgeable in digital audio production, stage lighting, set design, and live video production. Experience with video/lighting systems, non-linear editing, and studio mixing. Commitment to Calvary’s Calvary Articles of Faith, Philosophy of Worship, and Philosophy of Ministry. Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred; proven ministry experience is required.
