Amish Country & Daniel Live Performance

Calvary Senior Adults are invited to join Pastor Jim Pile on a trip through beautiful Amish country in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, plus a live performance of Daniel at the Sight & Sound Theater.
Experience the biblical story of Daniel as it comes to life on stage with spectacular effects, live animals, and massive sets. Daniel is exiled far from home in the powerful kingdom of Babylon. From the fiery furnace to the infamous den of lions, we witness this faithful servant as he navigates his new life and makes dangerous choices while trusting God.
We'll also make stops at popular venues throughout the area. Come enjoy great fellowship, good food, and a memorable experience with friends!
Trip Itinerary
DAY 1: Mayberry | Harrisburg, PA
We'll depart Calvary and stop in Mt. Airy, NC, for a fun-filled visit to "Mayberry" — Andy's actual hometown, which inspired the beloved Andy Griffith TV show! Then we'll travel through the beautiful Shenandoah Valley on our way to Harrisburg, PA, for a two-night stay.
DAY 2: Amish Country Tour | Bird-in-Hand Market | Sight & Sound Theater | Dinner
After breakfast, we'll take a riding tour through the Amish countryside with opportunities to shop for local, handmade items and sample local treats. Lunch will be on your own with a visit to the Bird-in-Hand Farmers Market. Then we'll enjoy the stage production of Daniel at the Sight & Sound Theater, followed by a delicious dinner.
DAY 3: Route 11 Potato Chip Factory | Home
We depart for home this morning but make a stop at Potato Chip Factory to watch the process of making chips and enjoy samples. We arrive back in Charlotte later that evening.
Trip Details
In addition to your admission to Daniel and the tour venues, the trip includes round-trip transportation by motorcoach, a two-night hotel stay, two continental breakfasts, and one dinner.
Cost options: $689 double, $649 triple, $629 quad, or $815 single
- $200 deposit required with reservation; final payment is due by September 2.
- Travel insurance is available @ $65/per person for double, triple, or quad; $81 for single.

Book your reservation before June 29 to receive a 2% discount. If the full balance is paid prior to June 29 and all payments are made using cash, check, or money order (NO credit cards), a 5% discount will be applied.
