Women's Bible Studies

Ladies, are you looking for an opportunity to connect? Are you ready to study God's Word in a deeper, more meaningful way? Join us on Tuesdays for one of our new winter Bible studies! Childcare (infant to age 5) is available during morning classes.

Tuesday Morning Classes
January 9–March 20  |  9:30 AM–Noon

1, 2, 3 John and Jude
by: John MacArthur
Teacher: Judy Trexler | Room 226
In these four short epistles, John and Jude warn against the dangers of false teaching regarding Jesus Christ. Their warning continues to be relevant today as the foundational truths of Christianity are being challenged by a post-modern, “feel good” gospel. In this study, we will be encouraged to contend for the true faith, distinguish between sound doctrine and falsehoods, love our brothers and sisters in Christ, and faithfully obey the Word of God. Cost: $15

NEW! Discerning the Voice of God
by: Priscilla Shirer
Teacher: Rometa Arrington | Room 231
My sheep hear My voice… If hearing God has seemed challenging, Priscilla Shirer invites you to explore a more intimate relationship with Him, one that can make hearing Him — His will, His heart, and His voice — your ongoing experience. Discover how you can listen with greater confidence, clarity, and discernment. Cost $18

Revealing the Mysteries of Heaven
by: Dr. David Jeremiah
Teacher: Mary Beth Hohman | Room 232
This class focuses on the glories of heaven. We will examine what the Bible says about the eternal home for Christians. Are there really streets of gold and pearly gates? What kind of bodies will we have? Will heaven be boring? What about infants and children going to heaven? The heroes of Scripture thought constantly about heaven and confessed that they were pilgrims on earth seeking a homeland, looking forward to the city whose builder and maker is God. Join us as we anticipate our eternal home. Cost: $15

Acts Part 2, A Precept Upon Precept Study
Empowered by the Holy Spirit to Take the Gospel from Jerusalem to the Uttermost Parts of the World
By: Kay Arthur
Teacher: Jackie Schaffer | Room 241
Jesus promised His disciples that they would take the Gospel to the remotest parts of the earth. Observe Paul's transformation from persecutor of the church to preacher. Join him on his journeys across the Roman world to proclaim the saving message of Jesus to Jews and Gentiles. Discover how to witness and how to live an authentic Christian life in all circumstances in the power of the Holy Spirit. Learn to be like Paul, to be bold in proclaiming the name of Jesus and to trust our sovereign Lord who enables us to endure all things. Cost: $23

No Worries: Learning to Trust Our Sovereign God
by Jan Silvious & Pam Gillaspie
Teacher: Linda James | Room 231
Are you a worrier? Are you preoccupied with the "what ifs" or worst-case scenarios? Unrelenting doubts and fears can paralyze us! Worry can interfere with daily life and ruin your relationships. Jesus tells us in the Sermon on the Mount not to worry even though we will have troubles in this world. Calling worry by another name such as concern, a burden, or a cross to bear is sinful because our lack of faith can hinder Him from working in our lives. This class will help you discover how to fully trust in our sovereign God. Cost: $25
