The Special Needs Ministry at Calvary welcomes all ages and abilities! Guests (including parents and caregivers) are always invited to join us. We focus on providing our students with opportunities to worship, to grow in their faith, and to serve in our church and community.
SUNDAY WORSHIP & SMALL GROUPS
On Sunday mornings, our adults and older students enjoy worship in the Sanctuary with their families or alongside small group leaders or "buddies." Our younger children attend the large group portion of KidZone. Afterward, each group returns to Room 100 or Room 129 for a Bible lesson, related activities, and fellowship.
Children & Teens
We meet in Room 129 during both 9:45 AM and 11:15 AM class times.
Young Adults & Adults
We meet in Room 100 at 9:45 AM for class. At 11:15 AM we participate in interactive fellowship and serving activities alongside "buddies."
Visiting for the first time? Please stop by the Family Welcome Desk on the first floor near the elevators. We’ll be glad to help you register and get to the appropriate classroom. Feel free to contact Julie Daugherty, our Special Needs Coordinator, with any questions about the program.
As a ministry community, our group fellowship activities include date nights, Wednesday night group dinners, pool parties, bowling, strawberry picking, Calvary Family Day, and our annual Luke 14 Banquets.
