What is baptism? Why be baptized?
Next preparation class: September 24
At Calvary, special events and key milestones bring us together as the Body of Christ and offer the opportunity to celebrate, support, and care for one another.
Being baptized is a public profession of faith and an act of obedience after coming to saving faith in Jesus Christ, symbolizing your new life as a follower of Jesus Christ.
Before being baptized, we ask candidates to attend a class that explains the significance and meaning of baptism. Classes are offered on the Sundays prior to our baptism services in Room 401. Walk-ins are welcome!

On select Sunday mornings, Calvary offers the opportunity for parents to dedicate their children to the Lord by making a public commitment to live godly lives and raise children "in the discipline and instruction of the Lord." Parents wishing to dedicate their children should plan to attend one required preparation class, typically offered at 12:15–12:45 PM in the Calvary Café on the prior Sunday.
